This page explains how to delete your data from Axiom Tools. It is referenced by our Privacy Policy and is the deletion instructions page we provide to the platforms we integrate with.
The Service is operated by Axiom Tools, ABN 30 132 181 813, a sole trader business.
If you want to stop us publishing to a social account but keep using the Service:
What happens immediately: the stored access token and refresh token for that account are deleted, and we ask the platform to revoke the grant. All future publishing to that account stops.
The revoke is a request to the platform and it can fail — the platform may be down, or the token may already be dead. A failure does not stop the disconnect: your tokens are deleted at our end either way, and we hold nothing further for that account. It does mean the authorisation may still be listed in the platform’s own settings, where you can remove it yourself.
What does not happen: content already published stays published. It is held by the platform, not by us. To remove a published post, delete it on the platform itself.
You can also revoke our access from the platform’s own settings — for example in Facebook’s Settings → Business Integrations, or the equivalent screen on Instagram, TikTok, or X.
Only Meta tells us when you do. Remove our application from Facebook or Instagram and Meta sends us a deletion request, and we delete the connection at our end without you doing anything further. TikTok and X send us nothing: the connection stays listed in your account here until the next time we try to use it, which fails, and it is then marked as needing your attention. Nothing publishes to it either way. To delete the stored tokens immediately, use Disconnect above.
This is immediate and it cannot be undone.
What is deleted:
What is retained, and why:
| Retained | How long | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Billing records | 7 years | Required by Australian taxation law |
| Backups containing your data | Purged within 90 days | Backups are written on a rolling schedule and expire rather than being edited |
| Server logs | A rolling window of roughly a week, held by our application host | Security and fault diagnosis. We do not export them or keep a copy of our own |
Billing records are kept as financial records. They contain your Stripe customer identifier, subscription status, and payment history. They do not contain your business information, your content, or your credentials.
Email privacy@axiomtools.au from the address on the account and ask us to delete it.
We will acknowledge within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may need to verify that the account is yours before we act — usually by confirming details only the account holder would know. We do not charge for this.
If you remove our application from your Facebook or Instagram settings, Meta sends us a deletion request automatically. We handle it without you needing to do anything else: we delete every connection that Meta account authorised, across every account of ours it was connected to.
That request deletes the connection, not your Axiom Tools account. Your account, your content, and your other connected platforms are untouched, because they are not Meta’s data to delete. To delete the account itself, use the steps above.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a deletion request, the complaints process — including escalation to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner — is set out in section 15 of our Privacy Policy.
